A Spectacular Project
Construcţie/Deconstrucţie
Desenul meu este o explorare liberă şi neţărmuită a haosului construit din motive abstracte.
Atunci când lucrez, mintea mea este focusată şi ascuţită. Mă dedic total liniei, punctului şi mişcării. Pe măsură ce desenul se construieşte în faţa mea, apar noi şi noi direcţii şi posibilităţi de a-l continua. Ritmul desenului şi evoluţia lui sunt date de intensitatea şi precizia mişcarilor mele. Mâna mă ajută atât cât mă ajută instrumentul cu care desenez iar ceea ce se naşte este un proces de construcţie şi o deconstrucţie constanta.
Colţuri şi rotunjimi se îmbină şi se completează ; suprafaţa se aglomerează şi se aeriseşte apoi ajutând privirea să urmărească punctele şi semnele. Fiecare semn pe care îl fac aparţine fie unui univers tehnic fie vegetal. În oricare caz, elementele desenului compun o pânză deasa de forme şi linii, precum un univers dintr-o altă dimensiune.
Desenul reconstruieşte, de data aceasta, un portret straniu şi ludic, rupt dintr-un viitor hotărât şi dinamic în care nu e nevoie să ştim neapărat ce semnifică un anumit lucru, căci avem încredere că drumul este mai relevant decât destinaţia.

ASE ERES Conference
I had the pleasure of being invited to exhibit at the ERES conference this year. Met some very interesting people and discussed the relationship between art, economics and real-estate in these challenging times. I wish to thank Professor Ion Anghel of ASE for his commitment and involvement in this project as well as the Criterion Cultural Foundation for helping with the logistics and marketing.
This was a very instructive and eye-opening experience for me as I also designed the event’s visual identity and marketing materials: an artist’s so many capabilities all in one go.

They Never Told Me. In Nice
“Get the girl” and “Be an astronaut” might not always be two complementary ideas. This drawing explores the metaphors of counterbalancing forces that act upon one’s life – wishes and whims that pull us in various directions. “They Never Told Me”. This composition is inspired by the realization that the ideas that we’ve been told as children do not always apply at the adult age anymore.
