Nice. Charming with the right filters.

I’ve been hard at work yesterday and I’m happy to share the results with you. This work is a reflection on what “HOT” might mean, if taken literally as a state. A kinky work that bridges between sexy, gross and utterly nasty.
This unlikely combination is sure to make some people winch …but I bet you’ll wanna look twice to discover all the details.
I’ve added elements (such as bullets) to spice up the hotness of the imagery. It’s all a big visual/taste explosion. As usual, I’ll be happy to find out what you guys think of it.
Happy to post. Happy to share.
I’ve been working on this drawing for a few days and I feel that it’s finished. I’ve been inspired by the marine lifestyle when I chose the imagery and symbols for this creation. What I see in it is a metaphor for life’s hardships: the way it feels sometimes is that we’re wearing the wrong clothes for the party we’re at…and swimming against the current.
Tell me what you think and what this drawing makes you think of. Your comments are welcome.

Painting in the park yesterday. People commenting and asking me all sorts of questions. That great feeling of doing something that’s truly amazing.
Colentina, the new Barbizon.
I’ll be painting in the park through-out the day!
This will definitely be more efficient and rewarding than sitting in the studio and checking my Facebook. So, everyone, enjoy your Sunday!
I’ll be back with pictures in the evening.
Just discovered a great post in The Art Newspaper about how artists interpret the work of other artists. I think we need more. More interpretation, more creation, more engagement and certainly more Creative Commons.
I guess this means that the discussion about appropriation is now open again. Hopefully, the democratization of the visual will never stop.
I am preparing a new exhibition at ASE Bucharest. Join me at the ERES conference on 25-28 June 2014.
